8 months!

Can you believe it?? 8 months already! Actually almost 34 weeks today!!

Where did the time go? I haven't posted a new blog since my babyshower but Madison has grown quite a bit. I had my last appointment Monday (33 weeks) and Im still measuring a little small[[30 cm at 33 weeks]] But Dr. T doesnt seem too worried about that since the scan at 28 weeks said her growth is right on track:) He felt my tummy and assumes she is laying .sideways. OHHHHH NOOOOOO! But ordered another ultrasound just to check it out! I tell her at least twice a day that she better get that head DOWN! LoL! I even have her dad tell her..i KNOW how girls tend to listen to their daddies more! haha! I really would like to have a "normal" vaginal birth and if she stays sideways we may have to prepare ourselves for a c-section:(

Everything else is going great! Still stocking up on the last minute baby items we need. Thanks to all those LOVELY Babys R Us gift cards we still havent had to spend a dime out of our own pockets! Well besides the occasional trips to Children's Place where i cant HELP myself! Madison is already a lil' diva with the cutest outfits! I look back on old pictures and i always see my self in my brothers hand me down spider man shorts or family friend's hand me downs and DONT GET ME WRONG.. I am so GRATEFUL that i had a roof over my head and food on my plate but we are truly blessed with a good lifestyle and GREAT family and friends so why not get everything new for our BABY! SHe deserves the best of the best:) Every now and then i start to feel guilty because i have such "expensive" taste for Madison.. i mean, did i really need the 380$ Chicco Travel System? Graco sells them for 180$! BUt then i think.. you know what.. if my parents want to spoil gtheir grandbaby then why not! Chicco is known to have GREAT safety reviews and like i said before "Madison deserves the BEST!". So yes i will continue to SPOIL Maddy and hopefully one day she will look back and she just how loved she was and how excited we were for her to enter this world!!

I am horrible though, because we havent set up her nursery furniture yet! BUT i have a good reason for this: The condo above ours had a leak and it caused water damage in our condo. The ceiling needs to be repaired this is NOT a FUN process! First they have to check for mold, then make sure the ceiling is dried out, then repair the drywall! Before all this can be done the insurance has to approve it! Ughhh! what a pain! And we dont want to bring her crib and dresser here only to get it ruined by the repairs being made! So hopefully it will get fixed quickly.. im getting antsy amd really want it up and ready for Madison's arrival!!

SOme more GREAT NEWS, my mom and her husband are coming to California in a few weeks. They will be staying in San Diego with family! My cousin's daughter is turning one and theyre having a big party so we'll all be there! My aunt asked my mom a few nights ago if she can throw me a baby shower while we're all there! How SWEET is that! It will probably be a small co-ed bbq/baby shower and i CANT wait! Everyone keeps asking me what i need but the TRUTH is NOTHING! Im just excited to be surrounded by family!! i'll be 36 weeks so i'll be HUGE!! But it should be a great time!
